As with any job the pay scale is going to depend on how much schooling you have and how much hand on experience you have. This is a very stressful job and you are going to have to meet deadlines on time.
You are going to attend a college for two to four years depending upon if you want an associate's degree or a bachelor's degree. Whatever degree you decide on when you are finished it will get your foot in the door. Everyone has to start somewhere and an associate's degree will get you a job
