Supreme Court Crushes Anti-Crush Law
A Supreme Court 8 to 1 ruling has overturned an obscenity law that sought to punish creators of so-called "crush" videos. Although Congress's original intent in passing the law was to strike back at quasi-erotic videos featuring the crushing, maiming, and mutilation of animals for the prurient gratification of viewers-so called "crush" videos," a surprisingly non-partisan ruling saw the law as excessively broad sweeping, one which potentially could make cooking
